Coding Competition with GoDaddy

WHERE: Brickyard M1-09 (this is different than our usual spot, we’ll be posting signage to help you find the new location)
WHEN: Oct 25, 2013, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM THIS IS A FRIDAY OMG! SKIP YOUR LAME CLASSES AND JOIN US
WHAT: This is not a hackathon, it is a coding competition. We will be picking multiple languages for you to solve puzzles in. We will show you how a puzzle is solved in an unrelated language to see what result you should be getting, and you will code to solve that problem. Kind of like a code labyrinth (with less david bowie and more mountain dew) We have not limited any languages yet, the form questions for RSVP are to get a better idea of what we should be doing for puzzles, consider yourself lab rats in the greater LUG machine! And we’re bringing back code golf too! So come with your Model M keyboards and your clickty clacks because the winner will have plenty to brag about!

We are having food! Pizza and Soda as per usual, GoDaddy is sponsoring this event so they will be bringing plenty of freebies for people to fight over!

This will eventually roll over into our happy hour so expect to drink afterwards, as usual.

I hope to see everyone there!
